C. E. Boone Consulting

Christopher E. Boone is an experienced management professional who has worked with international, national, regional, state, local, and private-sector organizations in the areas of emergency preparedness, business continuity, security threat assessments, and radiological emergency planning. Mr. Boone has participated in a wide-range of projects, including the development of Emergency Action Levels, the development of Emergency Preparedness Inspection, Tests, Analysis, Acceptance Criteria for advanced reactor designs, and the development of complete and integrated emergency plans in support of Early Site Permit applications. His expertise includes project management, planning, technical support, and program evaluation.

Mr. Boone is a graduate of Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Mr. Boone has also completed a host of technical training courses related to radiological accident assessment, environmental monitoring, and health physics, to advance the state of readiness for emergency preparedness programs. He has contributed to the strategic planning and policy development for domestic and international emergency planning programs. Technical support missions and program evaluations have been performed in the United States, China, United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, Romania, and the United Arab Emirates. Mr. Boone has participated in evacuation related planning efforts supporting the States of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. He served as the Chairman for the Southeastern Utility Emergency Preparedness Group for 10 years. During this time, he coordinated activities between multiple utilities and governmental agencies, to support radiological emergency preparedness concepts as a part of an all hazards approach to emergency planning.
